Sunerg’s X-HALFCUT TOPCON range meets the requirements with photovoltaic modules produced in the Member States of the European Union with a module-level efficiency of at least 21.5% (with reference to Article 12, paragraph 1, letter a) of Decree-Law No. 181 of 9 December 2023). 


Transition Plan 5.0

With Transition 5.0, tax credits are granted to Italian companies that during 2024 and 2025 will carry out renovation and innovation interventions from which there will be reductions in energy consumption produced from renewable sources.

Beneficiaries:

  • Companies resident in Italy, regardless of legal form, sector, size and tax regime.

Objective:

  • support, through a tax credit scheme, the transition of the production system towards an energy-efficient, sustainable production model based on renewable sources.

Requirements:

  • Self-consumption projects, with installation at the production facility, started between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2025.
  • Reduction of the energy consumption of the production structure by not less than 3% or of the processes involved in the investment by not less than 5%.
  • Eligible expenses:
    • Photovoltaic systems: from 800 to 1,350 euros/kW depending on the size.
    • Energy Storage Systems: up to 900 euros/kWh.
    • Systems for the production of thermal energy used as process heat and powered by renewable electricity.
  • Photovoltaic modules must be exclusively produced in the European Union with an efficiency of at least 21.5%, with eligible expenses of 120% and 140% of their cost.

Persons authorised to issue certifications:

  • Energy Management Experts (EGE) certified by an accredited body according to the UNI CEI 11339 standard
  • Energy Service Companies (ESCo) certified by an accredited body according to the UNI CEI 11352 standard
  • Engineers and Experts enrolled in professional registers, with skills and proven experience in energy production processes

Resources:

  • €6.3 billion (PNRR 5.0), in addition to the €6.4 billion already provided for by the budget law (national resources 4.0), for a total of about €13 billion in the two-year period 2024-2025.

Use of benefits:

  • Tax credit that can be offset with the F24 form in a single instalment or in five annual instalments of the same amount by 31 December 2025.
